Experience life as a student athlete. Study for A-Levels or BTEC alongside a structured football programme for female players - full-time training, real competitive fixtures, and a pathway into Ilkley Town Women FC, as part of our football coaching offer across Yorkshire.

About the programme
The Girls Scholarship gives female students the experience of life as a student athlete - studying for A-Levels or BTEC alongside a structured, full-time football programme. Education and football run alongside each other, not against each other.
We run across four locations - Brigshaw, Leeds, Guiseley School, and Bradford - so students can apply to whichever centre (or centres) suit them best. Every location follows the same standard of coaching, education, and support.
Competitively, students play in genuine, competitive fixtures - competitions vary by location and season but include the National Football Youth League, the FA Youth Cup, and the National League Alliance. GPS data and video analysis are used throughout, giving players and coaches the detail needed to develop seriously.
Students on the scholarship have a clear progression pathway into senior women's football through our link with Ilkley Town Women FC.

What we offer
01 / Coaching
Every session is led by UEFA-licensed coaches with experience in the women's game. Full-time training means individual development plans, not just team outcomes.
02 / Curriculum
Every week follows a structured curriculum covering technical development, tactical understanding, and physical progression, backed by GPS data and video analysis. Players know exactly what they're working on and why.
03 / Fixtures
Students play genuine competitive fixtures - competitions vary by location and season but include the National Football Youth League, the FA Youth Cup, and the National League Alliance.
04 / Pathways
Pre-Scholars builds towards the full Scholarship, and the Scholarship builds towards senior football - including a direct pathway into Ilkley Town Women FC. Every step of the pathway is honest and led by the player's best interest.
05 / Education
Students study for A-Levels or BTEC at Level 3 alongside full-time training. Football and education run side by side, giving students a genuine qualification and a genuine football programme - not one at the cost of the other.
06 / Community
Pro Elite is built on relationships. Players, parents, coaches, and clubs that have come through our programmes stay connected. The environment we create is one players want to be part of - not just one they tolerate for the football.
What players gain
Every player receives a detailed written report each term covering technical, tactical, physical, and mental development with honest coaching notes.
Players who are ready are put forward towards senior women's football, including our pathway into Ilkley Town Women FC. The conversation is honest and the criteria are clear.
A full fixture calendar against genuine opposition. Players compete regularly throughout the season - not just in training matches or friendlies.
What players say
There's nothing else like this for girls in the area. Being able to study my A-Levels at Guiseley School and play football at this level at the same time is amazing - and I love the coaches, they actually push you.
This is helping our daughter get the qualifications she needs while she carries on playing football at a high level. As a parent, that combination is exactly what you're hoping to find.
